Adam Milstein Video Contest

The Adam and Gila Milstein Family Foundation recently partnered with the 12Tribe Films Foundation in announcing the 2nd annual “Inspired By Israel” video contest. The contest will be hosted on Israelvideonetwork.com, and calls for videos that enlighten and inspire the public about Israel. Philanthropist and foundation co-founder Adam Milstein hopes to build on last years success which drew more than a half million views on roughly 100 entries. Milstein sees the contest as a, “…vivid and dynamic way for us to show the amazing people, places and innovations of Israel.”

Interested participants must register by February 1, 2017 and submit their videos by March 6. Public voting will take place online from March 20th through March 29th, after which a panel of experts will decide on the top ten videos. $20,000 in prize money will be awarded, with a grand prize of $8,000 going to the top pick. Announcement of the winners will be on April 30th.

Last years winner, “Superman’s Got Nothing On Israel,” drew hundreds of thousands of views online and was seen on or acknowledged by a large portion of the press including the Jewish Journal and the Jerusalem Post. The applicants ranged in age and experience from kindergarten through college, and even boasted several renowned filmmakers.

A real estate investor by trade, Adam Milstein and his wife Gila have been active in promoting the Jewish state for many years. They founded the Adam and Gila Milstein Family Foundation (MFF) in 2000. MMF encourages and educates students and young Jewish professionals to take pride in their heritage, and learn what they can do to advocate for the Jewish people and the State of Israel. Adam Milstein also co-founded and chairs the Israeli-American Council, and sits on the board of several other committees that promote Israel through education.
